AimedBio Selected for Seoul National University Hospital’s Pediatric Cancer and Rare Disease Research Program

  • - AimedBio’s research project, “Advancing Precision Medicine for Pediatric Solid Tumors through Integrated Genomic Analysis and - Ultra-High-Throughput Drug Screening,” was selected on the 13th as a new project under the Lee Kun-hee (former chairman of Samsung) Pediatric Cancer and Rare Disease Initiative.
  • - Through this award, AimedBio will receive up to KRW 1.12 billion (approximately USD 840,000) in research funding.
  • - The project will be led by Seoul National University Hospital and carried out through a nationwide multi-center collaborative research network.
  • - AimedBio has developed AVATASCAN®, a precision medicine platform that identifies personalized treatment options using patient-derived biological samples.
  • - AimedBio’s precision drug screening technology has been licensed to Austria’s CBmed and commercialized through a licensing agreement with Singapore-based Avatamed.
